No: Betnovate is a strong topical steroid that should not be used on the face for excessive periods of time. While the anti-inflammatory benefits will help to reduce immediate inflammation, prolonged use can lead to thinning of the skin, atrophy (sinking in), discoloration, and small blood vessel formation. It is better to use topical preparations like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.
