No.: No. Cymbalta (duloxetine) is a norepinephrine/serotonin reuptake inhibitor and used for major depression especially with associated chronic pain. The forgetfulness maybe caused by the depression and is referred to as "pseudodementia" which disappears when the depression resolves.
