Possible: Plantar medial branch nerve entrapment or better known as neuroma. Podiatrist can diagnose and treat easily.

Neuroma: A nerve between the 3rd and 4th toes gets compressed and the toes get numb, often pain is associated with this. 1 common cause is wearing shoes that are too narrow. See a podiatrist for treatment before it gets worse.
