Racoon eyes: Refers to bilateral black eyes seen in head trauma and is a sign of a possible fracture of the base of the skull. If you have had such an injury, please proceed immediately to nearest emergency room.

Raccoon Eyes: Raccoon eyes can be caused by a hard bump on the noggin or a basilar skull fracture. It can also be "allergic shiners" from swelling of sinuses and nose (allergic rhinnitis)..
