Platform shoes: Linear growth ends when the growth centers of the long bones close in response to hormonal stimulation. At 27, you are long past puberty and the closure of growth centers. There are limited studies of the surgical lengthening of bones, scandinavian i believe, in response to leg length discrepancy and other issues.These are complex, painful and limited in their benefit.
