A member asked:

My patient is left paralyzed and today she had facial seizure.what cause is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Underlying cause: The seizure is likely related to the stroke causing the paralysis. Even a small amount of bleeding in the damaged area from the stroke would set up a focus for generating seizures.
