Is neck arthritus life threatening?

No: It certainly can be painful but not life threatening. If it is severe and compresses nerves or the spinal cord, then neurologic problems can occur.

No: Can cause pain and stiffness. Can cause headaches and spasm. Can cause burning and numbness. Can even cause leg and arm problems. . If it is so severe can cause neurologic deficits. But it is not life threatening.

No.: It is not life threatening, but could lead to pinching off some of the nerve supply to one's extremities, resulting in loss of use of parts of those extremities.
