Swelling: Heart and kidney conditions are only 2 reasons for edema (swelling). Joint problems (arthritis), allergy issues, venous issues (mostly in the legs/feet) are other commonly seen reasons. I see you are on methylprednisolone, which can cause fluid retention as well.

Think BP: High blood pressure, and certain medications used to treat them can cause peripheral edema. Excess sodium intake can lead to fluid retention as well. Talk to your doctor to see if this is the case, or if there is another cause for this. Good luck!
