Anovulation: In women with diabetes in particular, irregular or absent cycles is almost certainly related to a condition called pcos, or polycystic ovarian syndrome. This is releated to Insulin resistance and elevated androgen levels. The irregular bleeding, infertility or coarse male pattern hair growth are the reasons women seek help. It is important to evaluate because of the risk of endometrial cancer!
