Muscular pain?: With exercise you may be over doing it causing pain in the muscles just below the breasts, or perhaps your work out bra is irritating your breasts. Try to pin point the area of the breast that hurts and try different sports bras.

Soreness: Nipple soreness is very common when women start working out. It is usually the result of rubbing against the bra. You may have to get a different sports bra. You may have to protect your nipples with lanolin and cover with band-aids while exercising until they recover. Soreness deep to the breast is usually due to working out the chest. It lessens as you get through the first few weeks.
