Not very, but: Pin sized means tiny, and if it's really several months and isn't growing it's probably not a skin cancer--but i'd still get my doc to take a look.

See dermatologist: Any lesion that is present for several months, especially in an area of heavy sun exposure, should be checked by your dermatologist. If it appears suspicious, it may require biopsy.
