Local anesthesia.: Local anesthetic has a maximum dose for the body, it is based on your weight. Epinephrine is commonly used with local anesthesia and that can spark an abnormal heart beating that can be life threatening, irrespective of weight. If you have any of the above symptoms see your physician asap. That is why some football players die on the field.

No: Local anesthesia usage is calculated based on patients weight. Dosages outside of the maximum allowable may cause problems.

Yes and no: Local anesthetic like Lidocaine can be used to treat some arrhythmias but they also cause arrhythmias especially at higher dosing. It depends on type of arrhythmias and type and amount of local anesthetic being used. Good luck.

Not usually: They are in fact used to treat arrythmias. At very high doses they can cause them however.
