Provocative test & q: The EP test is a provocative test. The EP physicians try to induce & "capture" an arrhythmia to see where it starts. Depending on location & type, ablating ("zapping") the irritable part is possible & curative. But it is a provocative test, & so done in a controlled environment to stop any arrhythmia provoked. Do exactly what the EP doc says, when he says it & u shd be fine. Don't overthink it.
