Pink pills & stink?: Bacterial vaginitis usually causes a 'fishy odor' and there is white blood cell infiltration in the vagina as well. If the odor is gone, a brown non 'stinky' discharge can be normal. What the pink pills are, I have no idea.

2 different things: Spotting is blood from the uterus, and likely is unrelated to the bv. If you are still having symptoms, it's possible that the medication you were given to treat the BV didn't work against the strain of bacteria that you have. You can ask doctor for repeat dose, or for a culture. Sometimes women get yeast on top of a bacterial infection. White blood cells are present for both, typically.
