Specializes in Pain Management

Approach: Chronic pain has many root causes. You may need several opinions from different perspectives. Neurologist, rheumatologist, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, and interventional pain management physicians can all provide help. Taking opioids (pain meds) can result in tolerance. Consider altrernatives such as biofeedback, guided imagery, visualization-relaxation.

All pains need treat: All pains need treatment. If there is a known treatable cause that should be treated. If the cause is untreatable or the pain is of unknown cause then pain itself is the diagnosis and needs treatment by pain management specialist.
