A member asked:

Should i ask my doctor about liver damage? bloated tummy, sore muscles, upper abdomen tired all the time but also have multiple sclerosis.

Yes: The function of the liver can be initially assessed by simple blood tests called "liver function tests". They look at the enzymes in the liver. Many medications used to treat ms can affect the liver. If the liver function tests are abnormal, you doctor may do a panel for liver infection (hepatitis) and imaging studies of your liver.

Yes, see doctor: If you have MS, you are advised to get it medicated. You do NOT list any such item. You need to have a primary care physician assess your symptoms and uncover causation.
