Full eval needed: I'm sorry, but questions of this nature require a full evaluation to correctly diagnose. There are many possible causes for "blackouts" like this, including drugs, alcohol, seizures, dissociation, etc. Your girlfriend needs to see her doctor.

Not enough Info: Even though it is possible that it is psychological reaction, the symptoms are serious enough that she should have a medical evaluation.
