I bought a new toaster when got pregnant which smelled like plastic. now im 30 weeks & and it still smells. will this b bad for my baby?

Not a problem: The plastic smell from the toaster will not harm your baby. It sounds, though, like you should take the toaster back to where you bought it and get a different one. As a fire hazard it is potentially more harmful. It should not smell like burnt plastic.

Not Likely but Check: Certain plastics have been implicated to be harmful to fetuses. But simply smelling the plastic is unlikely to cause specific harm. To be safe, i would determine the specific plastics in the toaster and review them with your doctor. Since you are concerned, i would recommend not using the toaster until you have checked with your physician to ensure that it is safe.
