Probably not: you may be sensitive or irritated by a chemical used to manufacture or package the glasses causing an allergic reaction - stinging/watery or itchy eyes. I would stop wearing the glasses if you haven’t already, and see your optometrist if the symptoms do not go away. Allergies/sensitivities are usually temporary once the cause is removed. Hope you feel better soon!
