Antibiotic-OC failur: Unfortunately, antibiotics may cause oral contraceptives to have altered absorption and thereby fail in their efficacy. If you are concerned, would check a pregnancy test. This is an important interaction for anyone on oral contraceptives to understand! if you need antibiotics, you need to have a second method of birth control for the cycle involved and the next cycle as well!

Ocp: Contraceptive pills can fail sometimes. Especially when taking antibiotics which can sometimes cause the level of the hormones decrease making it fail.
