~2 wks aftr fertiliz: A home pregnancy test will generally be + approx 2 wks after fertilization, or about the time that a period would be expected if cycles are regular.If they are irregular, this still applies. Ovulation occurs about 14 d before an expected period--so if your cycle varies from 24 to 35 days, ovulation might be as early as cycle day 10 (10+14=24d), or as late as cycle day 21(21+14 =35d).
