What do you mean....: By low. Eosinophils are not terribly abundant to begin with, and most problems that arise related to eosinophils occur because of having too many, not too few. Their normal function in the immune system is to fight parasitic infection. Elevated eos are characteristic of atopic (allergic) conditions and a few other pathological states such as loefflers syndrome and adrenal insufficiency.
