Not wise: Some women use this to try and induce labor. I have seen it work, and I have seen it not work. In either cases, the patients were sick and had significant GI "distress". Also, if it actually causes uterine contractions, consider that there is noone around to monitor how the fetus is tolerating those contractions. Do not mess with mother nature - all in due time!
