Walking: Castor oil was popular back in the 70s and worked by stimulating the colon and causing a lot of cramping. Walking is a lot safer and more natural !

Ask your OB.: Do not try on your own. Call your obstetrician for permission. Too many or too strong contractions without dilatation and effacement of the cervix may cause rupture of the uterus and catastrophe. More reasonable is to walk a lot to induce labor.

Sorry...: There are countless myths and legends to induce labor...Unfortuately they just aren't true. When your baby is ready, he/she will start the process. Other than medications to induce labor, there just isn't a safe, reliable way to start the process.
