Yes indeed: Some people are sensitive to this stuff and get elevated liver enzymes from it. It's easy to find out -- your physician can recheck you after two weeks off the stuff. The tetracycline family of meds are great, especially for acne, and are life-savers in rickettsial disease, but there are other good substitutes for long-term if one's made you sick.
