Is doxycycline bad 4 me if i have fatty liver?

Probably not: If fatty liver is chronic from being overweight for instance , it is probably safe to take Doxycycline . If you had recent liver injury causing the fatty liver, there is a small risk of further liver injury from doxycycline. Keep in mind that most medications are metabolized by the liver and put a strain on this organ. It usually is not long term damage.

Let me help you: Doxycycline has been associated with rare instances of hepatic injury, the cause of the idiosyncratic liver injury associated with Doxycycline is unknown, but several features (short latency, recurrence with re-exposure) suggest an immunoallergic etiology. Stay away from it if you can.
