No one exercise: There is no perfect exercise. To lose weight you need to take in fewer calories than you use. A combination of cardio (running, biking etc.) with some weight training should be effective. Another great form of exercise, if your bleeding has stopped is swimming. It is a total body workout with little wear and tear on joints.
