Is 30mg lexapro (escitalopram) ok for anxiety?

Depends on patient: Doses of 20 to 80 mg are usually prescribed for anxiety and or depression.

Could Be: It is possible that this dosage could be prescribed by a doctor to treat anxiety. There are also other medications that can be used and often some form of psychotherapy is indicated with or without medication.

Lexapro (escitalopram): As prescribed & tolerated, that is within the therapeutic dose.
