A member asked:

Is it true if you read a lot you might need glasses?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Presbyopia-- the loss of focusing ability is age related and does not correspond to the amount of reading you have done. It is due to ageing. Reading a lot as an adolescent or young adult does not increase the likelyhood you will need spectacle correction.
