Yes: It is not contagious. Just make sure to rinse out eye after swimming and make sure to do your warm compresses to clear up the sty. If you have problems with recurrent stys, using baby shampoo on a q-tip and scrubbing your eyelashes once a week with a dilute solution of this is often helpful.
