what is the difference between using a saline vs mineral oil enema?

Small difference: If the enema for cleansing the anal canal and the lower rectum both work well. If the purpose is to cure constipation, they work differently, the mineral oil helps the hard stool pass thruough the asus by librication, the saline enema tries to break the stool and liquidate it.

Yes: Mineral oil enema is more helpful if you are constipated for few days, it eases up passing the hard stools.

Either is good: Either emema is good to have a clean anal canal and rectum, be sure to wash up with soap and warm water after the enema.
