Yes, it's possible: Seizures have been associated with sudden death in epilepsy. It's called sudep. It happens rarely. The risk factors are convulsions in sleep, low levels of medication in your blood. It is not clear if it is causes by problems with the heart rhythm or if it due to fluid in the lungs.
