Xerosis: Xerosis is dry skin. When the skin can not retain (or loses) moisturization , then the skin will dry out and crack (just like a desert surface). It is important to keep the skin moisturized for it to maintain a supple appearance.

Pulps are cracked?: The tips of the fingers can develop painful cracks from many causes. Use a mild bar soap such as dove and massage pure vaseline into the skin.
