No alcohol : You have stopped one sedative and may be craving the calming effect of another. I would not drink. I also don't know your Klonopin (clonazepam) dose, it's duration, or the rate of the taper. Best wishes to you. Stay away from sedatives unless medically absolutely necessary and always under a doctor s supervision.

Depends: Clonazepam is a sedative that can be used for short term treatment of anxiety or severe insomnia. If it was used for this reason, it is okay to have a drink in moderation. Sometimes Clonazepam is used to detox or taper from alcohol. If this was the case and you find yourself craving alcohol again, please consider aa or another form of treatment. :).
