Unlikely: Shingles remains dormant in the nerves not the joint, and it reactivates in the skin. Don't think the two are related.

Shingles=chickenpox: Shingles (zoster) virus is what causes chickenpox & then sticks around hidden (asleep) for a long time until your immune system drops its guard. Then it reappears by following nerve where it was hidden to stripe of skin. Anyway, this is long way of saying frozen shoulder is not related to shingles.
