Had microfracture knee surgery and don't get my sutures taken out for 15 days. is that normal to wait that long? i've read it's usually 10-14day.

Ask questions pre-op: Disclaimer: i'm not a surgeon. But as a family doc, i always advise my patients to ask questions about proposed test, xray, procedure, surgery, medication, whatever before agreeing to it. In other words, best time to ask about when to remove sutures is before operation. And best person to ask is your surgeon, not some random doc online. With that said, 15d vs 10-14d isn't really a big difference.

No: Seems too long. You are correct that normally sutures are taken out between 10-14days.
