Pain: If it is new onset pain, it is not, so call your doc. Even if the pain has been present since the surgery, it is not normal, one way or the other, call doc.

Your pain is nl: You may have pain in your testicle area for several weeks following hernia repair . If swelling does not resolve or pain intensifies you should see the surgeon for a possible ultrasound of the area.
