Wait 4 a gentleman: I read that you are age 18, have crohn's and are taking two meds for your emotions. Becoming an adult brings new joys, new pains & new responsibilities. No two people are the same in terms of orientation / preferences. My take: (1) no one can force you to do something you don't want; (2) there's no shortage of gentlemen who, when / if the time does come, will put you at ease. Wait for real love.

Feelings & fears: Agree with dr. Friedlander that considering sexual relationships is a big part of growing up. Many people are anxious & worried about this, even if they don't say so. Also, learning about your own sexual preferences is momentous as well. Not everyone is heterosexual, and some need time to realize their own natures. Working with a therapist may help you through this important life passage.
