TMD : It certainly sounds like your joint dysfunction could be in an acute stage or that it could be accentuating another situation. Do you haves fever? Have you taken any medication to change this situation? Do you wear an appliance for TMJ dysfunction and have you tried wearing that? Did you have any trauma or swelling to the right side of your face? See or call your dentist.

Possibly clenching: That does sound like symptoms related to clenching your teeth. If you have had TMJ pain symptoms in the past, this could be a continuation or extension of that. I would recommend seeing your dentist for evaluation.

TMJ muscle issues: You could be experiencing TMJ where the masseter, temporalis and pterygoid muscles are in spasm from chronic clenching, fatigue and trigger points being present. The nerves that are in the face can be affected by intense muscle contraction, blood flow can be restricted leading to some of those symptoms of numbness and dyesthesia. Best treatment is from a neuromuscular approach with a fos.
