Ear Ache: Maybe and maybe not. How long has your ear been hurting? Do you have a fever or chills? Any other associated symptoms besides simply ear pain and numbness? It sounds like you might need to see another md since it is almost a week to ensure that the ear drum is not tense and bulging......Possibly close to rupture. Better to be safe than sorry.
