Cycle related: So you are describing breast symptoms leading up to an abnormal period after an abnormal inter-period interval. This is worthy of a workup that would include testing of thyroid function and screening for diabetes, for example. Your symptoms are clearly linked to abnormal cycling which in most cases is hormonal in nature.
