See a doctor: It is not clear what the cause of your ENT infection was 3 wks ago or if antibiotics were indicated. If you have had sore throat and cough for that duration it may represent allergy or adult pertussis (whooping cough) and in order to determine the cause a visit to a physician is clearly indicated. Hope you are better soon.

Return trip to Dr.: You'd probably be wise to return to your doctor - or another good doctor. Since your tonsils are out, this sounds like it is a familiar issue. A good ENT specialist should be involved. The many & complex functions of throats make diagnosis & treatment in this area very challenging. It demands super-human patience & support, but i hope you get help. Best wishes!
