Advil/H.Pylori: You have h. Pylori, which is a bacteria known to cause peptic ulcer disease. You are being treated with the above agents, which is appropriate. You are taking advil (ibuprofen), (ibuprofen) which could cause peptic ulcer disease, but there is no drug interaction between the agents you are taking for h. Pylori. Suggest no advil (ibuprofen) while being treated for your peptic ulcers/h. Pylori.

Advil (ibuprofen): Advil (ibuprofen) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory med, which means a common side effect of that class of med is stomach irritation, gastritis, and even ulcers. H.Pylori is the most common cause of ulcers. If your h.Pylori was a blood test result without proof of an ulcer on endoscopy or upper GI x-ray then you are likely fine after a dose of advil (ibuprofen). If you have ulcers proven you should not use advil (ibuprofen).
