Do you have pica only in pregnancy?

Pica/anemia: Pica is often seen in pregnancy but this is due to anemia found with pregnancy. Pica takes many forms. This is not a pregnancy "craving" and some types of pica can be dangerous. Pica should be evaluated whenever it occurs.
