None: I'm unaware of any use for that drug for aion. Brimonidine lowers intraocular pressure. Aion is a vascular disease of the optic nerve that is generally due to causes of atherosclerosis or other diseases of blood vessels.

Ischemic optic neuro: Brimonidine is thought to have neuroprotective properties and is sometimes used off label to help protect the fellow unaffected eye from developing NAION.
