Might need redone: Sound like symptoms of a recurrent hernia. Start by seeing your surgeon again!

More info: This is common after successful laparoscopic hernia repair, especially if some of the herniated fat remained in the hernia sac after repair. It could also represent a recurrent her is, although less likely. You should have an exam, and may need a ct scan to tell the difference. This should be done by your surgeon, but if not available, any general surgeon with experience with lap hernia repair.
