Alcoholic?: The term is generally used to mean compulsive and uncontrolled consumption of alcoholic beverages, usually to the detriment of the drinker's health, personal relationships, and social standing. When alcohol interferes with the rest of your life, it is a problem.

CAGE: The following questions are often asked to determine if alcohol is a problem: have you ever felt you needed to cut back on your drinking? Has anyone been annoyed by your drinking? Have you ever felt guilty about your drinking? Have you ever had a drink as and eye opener when you wake up? If the answer to any of these is yes, professional help should be sought out.
