Behavior: This biggest clue to a potential drinking problem is does the person continue to use despite negative consequences. Harm to their physical, mental or emotional health, or causing problems with work, at home, with other people. Then the denial that goes along with this; not seeing these as a problem from drinking. Defensive about their drinking, blame others for drinking. Can't stop at one drink.
