A member asked:

If you are on o2 for copd and are traveling in a wide body jet that depressurizes, what do you do?

Take O2 with you: Most aircrafts are pressurized to 10, 000 feet or less even if cruising at much higher altitude. You will need oxygen on board. Contact your airline for a list of approved devices. They will request an attestation from your doctor. Take the list of approved devices to your oxygen provider, they will get one for you or tell you where to get it. Have a nice trip.

Depends the altitude: Depends the altitude. With an accident of pressurization, there will be oxygen for everybody, including patients with lung problems.
