See a dentist: Their job is to determine the cause of your problem and to successfully treat the cause, thereby solving the problem. The mouth is a very confined place consisting of lots of nerves and blood vessels. It would be extremely difficult for you to do self dentistry without possible serious injury.

Are you a dentist?: Unless you are a dentist & know exactly what you are doing, i would strongly advise against it. There are several reasons why. First, it can cause a spread of the infection, especially without concomitant antibiotic coverage. Secondly, this will not solve your problem & may give you a false sense of security. Finally, unless you know head anatomy, you can possibly injure nerves or blood vessels.
